CommunicAsia 2009

Today is the first day of the exhibition. Actually I already went down yesterday to set up our booth, so got quite a good glimpse of the companies that are participating. Quite excited yesterday already.

The exhibition is quite an interesting one, and since I just went to PC show just 2 days ago, I did notice some similarities and differences between them, though they are totally different things with different objectives, but I just had to make a comparison between the two of them since both of them revolve around IT stuffs.

Differences:

1. The crowd. I am so glad I don’t have to push and get pushed around while walking at the exhibition.
2. You need to get registered before you can come into the exhibition. (Let me know if you are coming. I can bring you to my booth. hah.)
3. You see great stuffs, you can touch and try them. But you can’t buy anything from these booths, they are just for showcase. =( (but =D for your pocket)
4. The booths are all much neater and more attractive.

Similarities:

1. Can you feel the heat? I felt like I was drown in the Red Ocean. These two caught my attention the most so far. (I have yet to explore the whole exhibition yet. It’s too big.)
2. Although I don’t have any pictures, but you still see show girls walking around just like in the PC show. Actually compared to the IT show, I think I’ve seen more of them here.

Didn’t really go play with the Omnia II, no pictures too. Too many people playing and the test booths are crowded with people. I will go play with it if I can get the opportunity some time this week.

I also noticed that Samsung has some new HD screens/TV, didn’t really check it out yet.

 

Transparent Phone, actually not the whole phone transparent, but the touchpad that is transparent. Still cool gadget thou. Can consider too.
