Before I go on to talk about this show, just to let my readers know that I seldom watch drama. Just happened to saw this drama, and after watching the first episode, I was hook to it. Currently, it is showing the 5th episode, I just can’t wait for the next one to be released. I recommend this show to those people sick of watching idol dramas. It is a different experience and I like the script.
Shiroi Haru (白い春) aka White Spring is a Japanese Drama currently airing in Japan. Don’t expect romance or fighting in this show, it is about family bonds, relationship between father and daughter. It is a rather sad show, but not so sad that will make you cry. It also trigger your thoughts about life and the society, prejudice against criminals. Unlike the popular idol dramas that are very popular with girls, this show is very heart-warming and can really touch your heart.
Just go on a bit to the story of the show, no spoilers, don’t worry. The agony and despair Haruo (the male lead) faced after releasing for jail. He is often confused and upset about what has happened. But he can’t return back to the past and undo things. Basically the show revolves around how Haruo copes with his life and how he met Sachi (the female lead). There is a twist in the story, need to watch for yourself. Don’t want to reveal too much.
