Merry Xmas!!!

I have finally fixed my guitar a few days back. Woohoo! Finally can play it, feels happy to be playing again after like 6 years. Sorry keyboard, I know you are weeping somewhere in a corner, but you have to wait ok? =X

I also bought a pair of acsics, 2 shirts and a jacket. I still need to get my cap and working shoes! Hope I can find time during the holidays.

I will be off all the way till year end, finally can make time to meet up with all my missed frens.

How time flies!

Today I took a day's leave from work to daydream. (that's why I am so free today and the reason why this blog entry exists)

Had a hair cut and my teeth cleaned and checked at the dentist to welcome 2010 Xmas! Awesome!

Before the dental appointment, I was thinking to myself, so long never go dentist, die la, sure got many decays and got fillings to be done, thinking at least 6 teeth. The thing about teeth is you won't know if your teeth are okay or not until the dentist look at your teeth. You can't tell if your teeth are in good condition by just looking at it with the naked eye. People always praise my straight teeth, so naturally I am proud of them. But actually in my heart I know that I didn't take care my teeth well and don't deserve the praises.

So I went to the clinic at Ubi half an hour early today and I sat there quietly without informing the receptionist cause I was way too early. After a few minutes, I saw a guy walked in and went to the receptionist and registered. So I decided to register first as well, was told the doctor is actually ready to see me. Hah, and I went in.

I told the doctor need to check my teeth and probably need filling too. I lied down, the dentist looked into my mouth and then I heard the dentist said "No decay. Let me clean them first, then check again."

So the doctor started cleaning, clean, clean, clean. No need the details la, but then all I can say is the sensation is either as good as the last time I had my dental from what I remembered, or even better. Yea I meant "sensation." U know? Luckily it took about only 15 mins. Haha. That's what I get for missing my dental appointment for so long. Ya I promise to take care of my teeth properly from today onwards and go for dental appointment regularly. =D And I learnt how to floss my teeth today. Thank you Dr Wong. Good service!

Yea done, and surprisingly... no tooth decay. Actually, I have already set aside 1k just in case I have some serious renovation to be done to my teeth. Now I can use them to do some Xmas Shopping. Hah.

After dental I went to buy hair wax. So I walked into this cosmetic shop, then the shop aunty walked towards me and I asked what I am looking for. I told her looking for hair wax, and then she recommended me this wax brand HEX. She told me this wax is good cause it is easy to wash off. Then she said something that caught my attention, "I can see that your hair drops easily." -.-'' I was quite offended at first, haha. But then I have to agreed that what she said is quite true. So I bought this HEX brand wax.

Oh anyway people have been asking where I did my lasik. I had it done at Shinagawa at Wheelock's place. I like the good service there. It has been 5 months, and eyesight still perfect. Hopefully the degree don't come back. Anyway I paid around 2.5k, including the medication as well.

Apparently I just found out 4 works for me. And its just 1 ice cream. Not udders, not ice cream chef and not BnJ. Just wall's.

Post Op Day 1 - Good bye glasses

My left eye > right eye. I can see much clearer with my left eye now, and it has no redness. Going for post op review later, see what the doctor says later. 

I still can't believe I actually went through the operation. Although I couldn't see stuffs most of the time during the entire process, I was a bit scared. But the doctor and staffs at Shinagawa are really very nice people and are very encouraging. The things that I will always remember  are the 26 seconds for each eye to cut and have my cornea flap ready. And the big red spots that I was told to look at. I thought I almost actually shifted my eye. so did I? hmm..  haha

Now I need a pair of comfortable sunglasses. =D

Anyway I caught Despicable Me the day before.

It's so fluffy I'm gonna dieeee

4 more days ...

The clinic just called yesterday, told me that I need to reschedule my appointment cause the doctor's not free on wednesday. First thing that went through my mind, am I going to wait 1 week or more for the op? No.... But luckily there's free slots on tuesday and  thursday. I chose tuesday, just want to get it over and done with. The whole op thing is making abit worried and also excited. Hope I made the right choice. This will be a perfect bday gift for myself. =D

Anyway heard over the radio that there are people analyzing how the sotong chose the winning country. The conclusion that they came up with: that sotong probably chose the flag colour that resembles his favourite food. Wahaha. Germany and Spain's flag has red colour on it. Happens that Paul likes the colour red, or like some sea animals that is red colour? I wanted Spain to win but I now hope the sotong is wrong, so I am going with Holland instead. =X Go Holland.

I am finally halfway through the book "Quarterlife Crisis." Hope I can finish the book by end of this month, I know I am super slow.

I am watching Eclipse tml. Jacob > Edward.

It's gonna be a long break from work. At least till wed.

Back from Taiwan

Testing testing, using ScribeFire to blog. Very weird cause only seeing a plain text box right in front of me, feels like typing an email.

Anyway...

Just came back from Taiwan, the weather there is cooler than Singapore (for the past 2 weeks). Why 2 weeks, cause yesterday the 雨下到~ 吓到我！

Totally unbelievable, flooded till the ceiling of Starbucks at Wheelock. Like what some people said, since it is 端午节，can really have Dragon Boat there. Singapore first man made river at Orchard Road. 

Anyway at Taiwan, went to 西门町，士林，101. I still think 高雄 is better place to go to. 台北 really nothing much to do, just like another Singapore. Most of the things you can find there, you can find in Singapore. And I like 高雄 夜市 better, feels bigger, 士林 feels like another Bugis Village. 

Time to plan for another trip soon.

倒霉！

最近真倒霉。扭到了脚，又割到了手。现在又生了病。虽然好了很多，但希望能快点痊愈！

上个星期看了 Alice in the Wonderland, 觉得还不错。我看的是 non-3d 版。在看这部电影时，不停在回想，Alice in the Wonderland the 原本故事，好像忘了！哈哈。老了老了。

忘了告诉大家。

海派甜心 > 下一站，幸福 !

新年快乐！

我刚看完了 [海派甜心]，超赞的耶。真的是好好笑，却感人的一部戏。杨丞琳和罗志祥都演得很好。若你不知，我都很少看类似的偶像剧，因为每次看到一半，就会无法集中精神继续追看，不是剧情太无聊，就是太婆妈了。这部偶像剧我最喜欢的一点就是，回忆戏并不多。不像我之前看了的 [斗牛要不要]，几乎每一集都在回忆发生过的事，因此，画面出现的都一直重复。例如，就是Hebe和郑元畅打篮球的那段戏，看久了会有一点腻。[海派甜心] 是有点卡通，但看了很有新鲜感，值得你去看一看。

我原本是可以慢慢看完 [海派甜心] 的，但很多人都跟我提台湾另一部也是收视率相当高的偶像剧，[下一站，幸福]，很多的好评。所以我便把命的看完了 [海派甜心]，开始了 [下一站，幸福]。现在还是在第三集而已，剧情还没什么发展。好想快快看完它，也可以把这两部戏作个比较，看我的胃口是不是和大众都一样。到底 [下一站，幸福] 有没有人们说的那么好呀？

海派甜心 is by 罗志祥 and 杨丞琳. Romance comedy, quite nice. The last episode shown already, I am still catching up at the moment. The vcd should be out very soon. Heroes season 4, think going to end soon, episode 16 now I think. I am only at like episode 6 for Flashforward. Flashforward stopped showing, and will only resume in March. Naruto and Bleach are the only 2 animes that I am following, got no time for more. And Bleach is like forever fillers, I graduated more than half a year already, Ichigo ish still haven’t fight Ulquiorra. Naruto starting filler now also, hopefully will switch back to main story line soon.

Feelin Xmas

Jingle bells jingle bells... Everywhere I go I hear Xmas songs, everywhere I go I see Xmas decor. I like the Xmas tree in tampines mall. The White Xmas tree at bugis is nice too. Xmas always reminds me of how time flies. Today I bumped into my jc classmate. Haven't seen her for the pass 7 years. Seems like nothing had changed, but 7 years is like 1/10 of our lifespan, assuming we live for 70 years. And come to think of it, I am thru 1/3 of my life. Hm...

December Is here

I had a dream yesterday, and I can clearly remember what it is. I was shocked when I woke up. Weird dream. Random people coming together... Must be too much WoW before I went to bed yesterday. Is it a sign that I should quit. I read the november's l33t magazine today and there's this article about blizzcon and blizzard 3 upcoming anticipated games. WoW: catalysm, Starcraft 2 and Diablo 3. Once SC2 or D3 out I will quit WoW. Do you know that in US there's a rehab centre for Internet addiction which includes Internet gaming such as WoW, at the price of 14000 usd. That's like 78 years of WoW playtime...

Just knock off from work, on the way home now...

The umbrella that Shu Nuan gave me, I didn't even get a chance to use it for the pass 3 months until this week. And to make up for it, I got to use it everyday this week. Then the rain must always come when I am about to leave office, real spoiler.

I am amazed that I can blog, hold an umbrella, walk and listen to music at the same time. Haha. Not bad, I can multitask quite well.

Oh and I bump into this dog yesterday...




It was waiting beside me to cross the road. But it looked like a v obedient dog, it didin't jaywalk!

Hope no rain tml. Oh well, doesn't matter.

Rain Rain Rain

Yes, it’s the raining season again… and it’s also the 2nd last month of the year. How time flies…

Andi is coming back to Singapore tml. (that’s like 3 years already?!)

Shu Ting is getting married next month (I just bumped into her yesterday morning on the MRT, better give us the invitation card, if not we boycott. haha)

13 days to Six Months work (Yes, I cheated, counting weekdays only)

I haven’t start to miss school and hall life yet (weird, maybe that is because I love my job)

I am a software engineer (I studied EEE. For the more than 9000 times, yes, it’s related to what I studied. Haha)

I have 2 level 80 characters on wow (How much time I have been wasting, maybe 200 hours?)

My HTC phone spoilt 1 month ago (I would have waited for Xperia 2. But now u can see me on WhatsApp)

I am a hubber, yes. ***hub (I just switched to Smartsurf 100 plan. There’s no contract!)

I haven’t touch my PSP for the past 1 month (My Iphone pwns my PSP)

Yesterday was the 16 Nov 2009 (I just want to remember yesterday)

Back to work.

Just had reservist, convocation and my 25th birthday all in 1 week.

Although I spent my birthday in camp, I was happy. Had a good reservist. Now I am back to work. Thinking of starting WoW again to kill time, since I don’t watch tv and drama. It’s gonna be a fun week ahead! Woohoo!
